When I started this blog back in 2009, I did not even know that online reviews of products existed. Nowadays, I check online reviews all the time, particularly when it comes to makeup or electronics. That is why I decided to write a short review on a couple of products that I am currently obsessed with – Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains and Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Conditioner. I would not bother to write about these unless I truly loved them, which I do.
Firstly, in theory, lip stains are an absolute blessing, but it is hard to find a really good one. I have tried a range of them from different brands and was never really satisfied. They are typically very drying. That was until a friend at work introduced me to Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains. These are different to the usual pen-style lip stain. The fact that these are a balm makes them moisturising, while at the same time, they still have the incredible staying power of a stain. I basically never leave the house without one of these in my handbag now. For around the $18 mark each and with a range of shades, you cannot go wrong!
Now, it is time for the truly fantastic hair product that I have uncovered…
I cannot recommend Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Conditioner highly enough! For the past couple of years, I had been using a couple of different conditioners from my local salon that cost $70 per bottle. I know that this price is excessive, but they worked fairly well on my very dry blonde hair, so I stuck with them. Prior to this, I had tried a vast range of different supermarket conditioners, none of which seemed to work at all. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I ran out of my salon conditioner. I was in a rush and did not have time to go to the salon to buy another bottle, so I just used whatever we had in the house. This happened to be the Dove Hair Therapy Intense Repair Conditioner. And I have not looked back! It has made my hair so much softer and more manageable than any other conditioner I have ever used. I will definitely be sticking with this product. The best bit is that it is very cheap at under $10 per bottle, so spending $70 on conditioner is a thing of the past for me!
